BUSINESS INVESTING GURUS

Looking for ‘experts’ who claim to have skills or to be successful in online or offline business – management, leadership, coaching, marketing, to build your own successful business or to invest in an existing business? Then check out BiG’s list of business ‘gurus’ and how they rate. Here too you’ll find my research of industry experts and some of their business hacks, tips, tricks and mistakes to avoid.

Lists of the ‘most influential’, ‘Top 10’ … business leaders and others in Australia, Worldwide … such as The Top 50 Leadership and Management Experts (mostly USA) can give you a summary of well recognised CEOs, managers and leaders. But beware of lists of successful people:

try never to be swayed by lists of this nature … I’m still working hard and won’t stop until I’m on the list I most want to occupy:

‘People Who Equipped Me For Success,’ and only you can write that list.’

The Strange Nature of Lists, Chris Brogan

You can avoid business disasters by knowing what ‘success‘ means to you and by being careful about whose advice or methods you choose to follow. Who’s your guru – is up to you. Here are some insights on 3 types of success from Steve Jobs  (video)

At Guru Cops find others who can help you check out ‘experts’ such as: Choice: Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), plus various industry bodies and regulators ADPIA; AFA; AIA; API.

In the table of business gurus the ‘About’ column simply quotes their marketing blurb – hence ‘They claim’ (we don’t endorse their claims).

I’ve  reviewed them (under our Traffic Light System) and rated them: red, yellow, green. Any information and feedback from you or others, may lead to a re rating to a different colour.  Feel free to send your feedback – or tell me how you’d rate them.
