A lot of wealth creation, business, share and property investing involves psychology, planning, some goal setting and other similar skills. We list the gurus here, and show only those who specialise in a particular type of investing in the relevant BiG Book. Some gurus are also ‘celebrities’ and might not start out as ‘coaches’ but are modelled on – as experts in their field. Whatever you’re going to invest in, it pays to know who are the best (perceived and in reality) in their field. Here’s some amazing stuff:

  • The Hoopla We Magazines, publisher of The Hoopla and Birdee, believes in creating magazines that talk back. “The Hoopla is an online news and magazine site for a community of wise, warm, witty and wonderful women. I believe that the views and concerns of mature Australian women are increasingly overlooked in a landscape of celebrity, youth and sensation. In what many have termed “a race to the bottom”, where can we see ourselves? In this outing I’m joining forces with Jane Waterhouse who is the head of her own powerhouse company, Sister Communications, which specialises in marketing to women.

  • Young Vagabond 1460952_10151983397801919_1409791329_n“In 2011 … founders Ashleigh and Haylee met … and found they shared a common passion for furthering the empowerment and equality of women around the world. The decision to do something to change the status quo came a few months later when they realised that their passion was slowly turning into anger at the mounting challenges faced by women and the lack of resolve that existed in those around them to do something to change it … Since that first edition Young Vagabond has continued to grow  and evolve, with 2014 seeing the magazine go digital and the organisation growing to encompass school workshops, events and yearly memberships. Haylee and Ashleigh plan to continue to expand Young Vagabond until they’re providing a fully immersive and supportive resource for the young women of Australia to turn to for a helping hand in their own personal journeys.

Young Vagabond was created because Haylee and Ashleigh feel that we all feel like ‘vagabonds’ at some point in our lives – like we are wandering our own path, outcast from society and all alone. At no point is this feeling stronger than as young women trying to find where they fit in and trying to figure out where they are going in life. Young Vagabond is here to be that helping hand, to walk with you while you forge your own path.”

“A think tank (or policy instituteresearch institute, etc.) is an organization that performs research and advocacy concerning topics such as social policy, political strategy, economics, military, technology, and culture. Most policy institutes arenon-profit organizations, which some countries such as the United States andCanada provide with tax exempt status. Other think tanks are funded by governments, advocacy groups, or businesses, or derive revenue from consulting or research work related to their projects.[1]”  Wikipedia

The Rise of think tanks in Australian politics: “Over the previous two decades, a plethora of advocacy organisations have emerged seeking to engage and inform the public on political issues. Some of these entities, such as Get-Up, are self-funded bodies that are financed by supporter contributions.

Alongside these organisations exist an elite collection of think tanks that perform a similar range of educative functions but which have close links to the main political parties. What is further distinctive about these organisations is that they receive public disbursements.”

Some are politically aligned:

Some are independent (you decide whether or not they are):
