You may have read in About me the story of how and when my investing began. Unsure of investing choices, like so many newbies, all I could think of was ‘property or shares’?! Going to a seminar in Queensland (bad idea!) the promise was they would usefully compare the two – wrong! I ended up escaping from the seminar early- no $ back, contrary to their ‘guarantee’ and ASIC and the ACCC were of no use when I lodged complaints (on principle), hoping to prevent mum and dad investors being duped of up to $30,000 in ‘coaching and mentoring’. I did buy two Queensland investment properties soon after, but that’s another story!

Hence BiG was born! How to help people find the best investing information, services and people around – and avoid the rest!
